Suspended USC WR Joseph Lewis IV ordered to stand trial

LOS ANGELES — Suspended USC wide receiver Joseph Lewis IV has been ordered to stand trial on several criminal charges of misdemeanor domestic battery after a pretrial hearing Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Judge Christopher Lui set a trial date for May 17, ending the pretrial hearing, which had been continued for the past six weeks.
