Suspects invade SUV, stab motorist in Costa Mesa robbery

Police sought two suspects who they say invaded a woman’s SUV in Costa Mesa before stabbing and robbing her during the predawn hours of Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Two men stopped a motorist along College Avenue between Baker Street and Gisler Avenue and forced their way into her vehicle at about 4 a.m., according to a news release from the Costa Mesa Police Department. It said the suspects told the woman to stop the SUV near Gisler Park and stabbed her before fleeing the area on foot with her belon
