Suspect in fatal Stanton shooting arrested in Bakersfield

Deputies on Sunday, Sept. 8, arrested a man in Bakersfield who is suspected in a fatal shooting in Stanton about two weeks earlier.
Orange County Sheriff’s Department investigators worked with tactical teams from the Kern County Sheriff’s Department to take the suspect into custody,  OCSD officials said in a news release. He was transported to the Orange County Jail, and his identity was withheld pending his formal booking on Sunday evening.
