Suspect flees in armed robbery of Westminster grocery store

A suspect held up a Pavilions grocery store at gunpoint late Tuesday night, June 6, in Westminster and made off with cash, police said.
The robbery was reported about 11:23 p.m. on Beach Boulevard and Heil Avenue after a man brandished a black handgun at an employee while demanding money, said Westminster police Officer Alan Aoki.
The suspect was described as a 50-to-60-year-old white man who was wearing a black and white flannel shirt and black pants at the time. He fled on a bicycle. Officers
