Study abroad students at CSUF still shaken by sudden evacuations prompted by coronavirus pandemic

Marley Uyemura was taking a spring break from her studies at Waseda University in Tokyo and looking forward to the 2020 Olympics this summer when she got an urgent email telling her to come home immediately.
Uyemura counts herself lucky that she didn’t have to sign out of her classes like many of her friends did. But she was disappointed to have to leave the university she had attended for the last seven months and the elderly Japanese couple who had served as her hosts and helped her work
