Stay away from the 5 Freeway overnight this week

You might want to stay away from the 5 Freeway after midnight because much of it will be closed this week for continuing construction on the widening project.
Northbound lanes will be closed from Norwalk Boulevard to the 605 Freeway nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through early Friday morning.
Southbound lanes will be closed from the 605 to Imperial Highway the same time and up to two right lanes will be closed to Carmenita Road. The latter goes through early Saturday morning.
