Stadium closing ceremony postponed

A closing ceremony for Fred Kelly Stadium at the El Modena High campus has been postponed to Dec. 12. The ceremony was scheduled for this Wednesday but the forecast of rain promoted organizers to push the event to next week.
Fred Kelly Stadium, used for football, soccer, graduations, July 4th fireworks shows and other events, is to be closed while undergoing $24 million in renovations. It is scheduled to reopen March 2020.
