St. John Bosco’s Belton repeats as state wrestling champion

St. John Bosco wrestler Cleveland Belton is familiar with the grand stage that is the CIF State Wrestling Championships.
Belton, a 126-pounder, was competing on the championship mat in the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield on Saturday for the second year in a row.
And for the second year in a row, Belton left the mat as a state champion, scoring a late takedown and then hanging on for 3-2 victory over Clovis North freshman Ryan Franco.
