Sparks top league-leading Washington Mystics for third straight win

LOS ANGELES – All season long, the Sparks have been trying to find their identity with a talented team but a new coaching staff. With a week off to practice and develop, the Sparks had a chance to gauge their level of improvement Sunday against WNBA-leading Washington at Staples Center.
If a 98-81 win behind a season-high 31 points from Nneka Ogwumike and a triple-double by Chelsea Gray was any indication, Los Angeles is getting there. The Sparks have won three straight after dropping four
