Sparks roll past Phoenix Mercury in WNBA opener

Healthy and motivated, L.A. opened its season in the WNBA’s version of the NBA bubble with a sharp 99-76 nationally televised victory over the Phoenix Mercury.
The midday ABC audience saw all of the players wearing Breonna Taylor’s name on the backs of their jerseys, as they sought to keep attention on the woman who was fatally shot by police in her own home in March.
Viewers also saw Sparks stars Nneka Ogwumike and Seimone Augustus pu
