Sparks return to basketball with win over Sun

After a two-day pause to the WNBA season to reflect and regroup after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, the league got back to basketball on Friday, with the Sparks taking an 80-76 win over the Connecticut Sun.
The Sparks (11-3) came out stagnant on offense. Guard Chelsea Gray, who earlier in the day announced a campaign to donate $50 for each assist this season to help with voting education, was the only member of the team to score more than two points in the first quarter.
