Sparks can’t keep pace with Chicago Sky

A couple of could-be title contenders collided in the WNBA bubble on Tuesday, when the Chicago Sky defeated the Sparks 96-78 in a weird one at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
As the Sparks struggled to keep pace, the Sky opened up a big early lead early, lost it entirely, rebuilt it to 20 points in the third quarter and then, eventually, increased the advantage to as much as 24 in the fourth.
