SpaceX launch to International Space Station canceled due to strong winds; next attempt Thursday

HAWTHORNE — Hawthorne-based SpaceX canceled the launch Wednesday of its 19th resupply mission to the International Space Station from Cape Canaveral in Florida because of strong winds above the launch site.
The launch of the Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Dragon spacecraft packed with supplies and scientific experiments was set for 9:51 a.m. California time. Instead, SpaceX will try again Thursday.
As of Tuesday morning, weather conditions had been deemed to be 90% favorable for the Wednesday
