Southern California nonprofits can apply for Project Innovation grants

Nonprofits in Southern California can once again compete for $225,000 in grants to be awarded by a local TV news partnership to organizations that demonstrate the use of innovation in tackling community needs.
NBC4/KNBC and Telemundo 52 Los Angeles/KVEA, through a partnership with NBCUniversal Foundation, have brought back the Project Innovation grant program that last year awarded six area organizations grants ranging in amounts from $50,000 to $25,000.
