South Laguna beaches closed by diesel spill

Totuava and Thousand Steps will remain closed to the public as crews clean up more than 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
The fuel reached the beach after it appears to have drained from a generator at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach into a gutter and then into a storm drain, said Laguna Beach Battalion Chief Crissy Teichmann.
