Sophomore slump lands Cody Bellinger on Dodgers’ bench

DENVER – Asked this spring if he was worried about being victimized by a ‘sophomore slump,’ the reigning National League Rookie of the Year dismissed the idea with a pair of vulgarities.
“(Expletive), no. No. I don’t give a (expletive),” a confident Cody Bellinger said then.
A third of the way into his second season, Bellinger is apparently being punished for such hubris.
With a deepening slump extending into a second month, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts benche
