Social studies teacher turns ‘Hamilton’ into a lesson in creative learning for 5th-graders

LAGUNA NIGUEL — Let’s face it, as a subject of study, American history often gets a bad rap. But Mike Young is using rap to show his students that learning history can make you want to put on a funny hat and belt out a song.
