Snoopy House holiday display opens this week in Costa Mesa

The city’s elaborate Snoopy House display opens Thursday, Dec. 14 with a formal presentation and a visit from Santa.
The “Peanuts” characters will be featured in holidays scenes and free train rides are available for children. Live music will be played each night, including performances by Costa Mesa schools and others, such as choirs and dance groups.
The holiday tradition dates back 47 years and attracts 80,000 annually.
