Small earthquake hits La Habra Hills

LA HABRA – Mild shaking was reported Sunday, June 3, in the hills east of Los Angeles, as an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude estimated at 2.7 hit La Habra at 8:21 a.m.
The epicenter was one mile east-northeast of La Habra, according to automated sensors at the Southern California Earthquake Center. That computes to two miles north-northwest of Brea or two miles southeast of  La Habra Heights.
