Six O.C. players nominated to McDonald’s All-America game

Three players from Mater Dei were among the six Orange County players nominated today for the McDonald All-America Basketball Game.
The nominees: Devin Askew, Mater Dei; Judah Brown, Pacifica Christian; Ryan Evans, Mater Dei; Ian Martinez, JSerra; Aidan Prukop, Mater Dei; and Atin Wright, Fairmont Prep.
Final rosters for the seniors-only game will be announced Jan. 23. The McDonald’s boys and girls games will be played April 1 in Houston. ESPN will televise both games live.
