Our government as well as business and media leaders from the United States face a dilemma in the case of the disappeared Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Since the creation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932 by Ibn Saud, uniting a vast desert land and its many family factions, the U.S. has been a key ally. The marriage has perhaps been more one of convenience than a love match, with oil at its heart, but the arrangement has been in great part a successful one.
