Shot putters get good distance at Beach Cities Invitational

HUNTINGTON BEACH>> In terms of individual talent and depth, the shot put and discus were the showcase events at the Beach Cities Invitational held Saturday at Huntington Beach High School.
Several competitors, on both the girls and the boys side, came in having hit some of the best marks in the county in both events.
