Shane Steichen to remain Chargers offensive coordinator

Shane Steichen will continue to call offensive plays for the Chargers in 2020. The Chargers made the announcement Tuesday along with many other coaching changes.
Steichen, 34, took over as offensive coordinator in Week 9 after the team fired Ken Whisenhunt. The team’s statistical numbers improved in the running and passing games under Steichen, but the offense struggled with turnovers and in the red zone for most of the season. The Chargers went 5-11 and lost six of their final seven games
