Segerstrom baseball blanks league rival Santa Ana

SANTA ANA — The Segerstrom baseball team’s pitching and defense were on display Friday in a 7-0 win against Golden West League rival Santa Ana.
Segerstrom (9-3, 3-2) held the Saints to just three hits and committed no errors. Long Beach State commit Basilio Pacheco started for the Jaguars and threw two scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Cesar Aguilar relieved Pacheco and threw four scoreless innings with only two baserunners.
