Santa’s practice landing lights up downtown San Juan Capistrano

With three weeks still to go until Christmas, Santa Claus made an impromptu splash in downtown San Juan Capistrano on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Call it a practice landing, a chance to investigate rumors that there was some snow at Mission San Juan Capistrano (and there was). In any event, the white-haired guy in the red suit met with local children, learned what they want for Christmas and was entertained by folkloric dancers and others who seemed really happy to see him.
