Santa Ana’s public murals featured in ‘Mapping Arts’ database

Graduate and undergraduate students in Jamila Moore Pewu’s digital history class at Cal State Fullerton have spent the past several weeks researching and interviewing artists to put together a digital database of Santa Ana’s public murals and utility boxes.
On Thursday, their work, the Mapping Arts OC digital platform, will be launched at a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at the Makara Center for the Arts in Santa Ana.
The project is a collaboration between CSUF’s history department and the
