Santa Ana powers its way past Bell Gardens, sets up rematch with Godinez

SANTA ANA – Santa Ana defeated Bell Gardens 46-20 in a CIF-SS Division 12 first-round playoff game Friday night at Santa Ana Stadium.
Allen Pacheco led the way with 283 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns, while quarterback Damian Macias ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
The win sets up a second-round game against Godinez, which was victorious over Verbum Dei 44-0.
Godinez beat Santa Ana 23-12 in Week 1, handing the Saints (10-1) their only loss of the season.
