San Clemente honors veterans, Camp Pendleton neighbors

A shiny new plaque decorates San Clemente’s Park Semper Fi, built 13 years ago as an everyday reminder of this Orange County beach town’s longstanding affinity with neighboring Camp Pendleton.
The city and the Heritage of San Clemente Foundation unveiled the plaque Saturday, Nov. 4, at an annual ceremony honoring America’s war veterans and the Marine Corps’ 242nd birthday.
