Rock-n-roll, beat and pop mark Dana Point’s ‘British Invasion’ concert

DANA POINT   The city’s last summer concert at Sea Terrace Park, Sunday, Aug 20, was pretty groovy .
Titled the “British Invasion,” the event featured performances by My Generation, The Ultimate Stones and Sgt. Pepper.
The three bands played music from the 1960s made popular by bands like The Beatles and Rolling Stones.
The city estimates 3,000 people from across Orange County came out for the concert, which included dancing, food and drinks.
