Robert Woods’ absence is lone blemish on Rams’ win over Chicago Bears

THOUSAND OAKS — A day after wide receiver Robert Woods missed a game with what’s described as a personal issue, the Rams were providing no details about what caused his absence or when he might return to the team.
But the Rams sounded supportive of Woods and not worried about his well-being.
“His status this week is unknown,” Rams CEO Kevin Demoff said by text Monday evening, adding: “We are very understanding and supportive of him missing the game.”
