Roadwork to cause temporary traffic in some Brea areas

Caltrans is working on and preparing for several projects that will cause temporary traffic and detours in some parts of Brea.
The projects on the 57 Freeway, Carbon Canyon Road and Imperial Highway include pavement and concrete improvements, landscaping and the installation of wheelchair accessible ramps, according to a recent report to the City Council.
The projects include:
– The 57 from Orange to Fullerton to replace concrete slabs. Now through August 2018.
– The 57 from Anaheim
