Ride ’em cowboy

Top performers from the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association are competing in this weekend’s 17th annual Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo, a charity event designed to celebrate Orange County’s cowboy heritage.
There’s more than $175,000 in prize money on the line, as participants compete in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping and tie-down roping.
Over 16 years, RMV rodeos have raised more than $1.9 million for local charities. This year&rs
