Review: Never mind the weather, the soup’s ready
Summer might not seem like the best time to open a soup restaurant. But soup makes everything better, even when it’s hot outside, perhaps especially during a pandemic. I guess that’s what Yuk Dae Jang is counting on because this upscale Korean soup chain quietly opened not one but two new branches, in Irvine and Buena Park, over the summer. They already had restaurants — and a strong following — in Gardena, San Gabriel and LA’s Koreatown.
