Region’s home prices jumped 6.1% before coronavirus scare hit

If the novel coronavirus outbreak is having an effect on the Southern California housing market, it didn’t show up in February.
Both prices and home sales were up in the six-county region from February 2019 levels, a reflection of deals signed in January, many before the first COVID-19 case showed up in the United States.
