Recipe: Make General Tso’s Tofu for Lunar New Year
Lunar New Year, known as Tet in Vietnam, begins on Tuesday, Feb. 5. In celebration, you may want to mark the event by preparing an irresistible dish accented with ginger, soy sauce and sriracha. General Tso’s Chicken is a favorite in American Chinese restaurants. I’ve been preparing it for years and was delighted to see a vegetarian version in a recently published vegan-centric cookbook, “Chloe Flavor” by Chloe Coscarelli (Clarkson Potter, $27.99).
