Rapper, known for work with Snoop Dogg and others, dies while in Riverside County sheriff’s custody
A rapper who worked with Snoop Dogg and other artists died in a Riverside County jail on Monday, Nov. 11, the Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday.
Jamarr Antonio Stamps, 43, had been housed at Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in French Valley, said Deputy Robyn Flores, a department spokeswoman. Stamps, whose professional name was Bad Azz, did not appear to be a victim of a homicide, Flores said. No other information on the circumstances was available on Tuesday.
