Rams sign cornerback Troy Hill to extension through 2020

With the future of their secondary up in the air as Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib enter the final year of their respective contracts, the Rams made a move on Thursday to secure depth at cornerback, signing reserve Troy Hill to a two-year contract extension.
Hill, who started half of last season in place of an injured Aqib Talib, has shown flashes of potential over three-plus seasons with the Rams. After earning his place as a special teams contributor, the former undrafted free agent picked off t
