Rams draft offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom in third round after lengthy wait

THOUSAND OAKS – The Rams waited longer than any other NFL team to make a selection in this year’s draft. When they did, late in the third round Friday night, they made a large investment in their future.
Joseph Noteboom is the newest Rams player and, if all goes well in the next couple years, he could become starting left tackle. The Rams selected Noteboom, listed at 6-foot-5 and 306 pounds, out of TCU with the No. 89 overall pick, after a long wait and an additional brief delay.
