Rams declare Todd Gurley out for 49ers game Sunday

Rams running back Todd Gurley is out of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers because of a bruised thigh, a team spokesman said Saturday afternoon.
Gurley had been listed as doubtful to play in the game at the Coliseum after sustaining the injury in the Rams’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 3.
The Rams said they have activated John Kelly from the practice squad to serve as the third running back behind Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson. To make room for Kelly on the 53
