Rams can’t really prepare for snow and cold that might await in Denver

DENVER – To prepare for boisterous road crowds, NFL teams blare music or white noise. To prepare for wet conditions, practice balls can be dunked. Sub-freezing temperatures present a bigger challenge.
“Out here in southern California, unless we want to go to an ice rink, I don’t think we can really mimic and emulate that,” Rams coach Sean McVay said this week, while he happened to be wearing shorts.
