Power outage makes weekend shopping difficult for Costco customers in Yorba Linda

Customers hoping to get their weekend shopping done at Costco in Yorba Linda were surprised to find that the store was without power Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30.
The outage, first reported to Southern California Edison just past 1:10 p.m., was caused by failed equipment in a transformer and had knocked out power to 20 total customers, SCE spokesman Paul Griffo said.
