Possible first case of community spread of coronavirus reported in LA County

Officials from the Los Angeles County Department of public health today confirmed two more cases of coronavirus in the county, including one that could be the county’s first instance of community spread of the virus.
No history of exposure could be determined in one of the residents, officials said. The other patient has a history of overseas travel to Japan.
Last week, county officials declared a local public health emergency regarding the coronavirus.
