PORTLAND, Ore.  — Crowds swelled to several thousand as demonstrators from varying groups converged Sunday afternoon., June 4, in downtown Portland, Ore., in the wake of the fatal stabbing of two men who tried to stop another man’s anti-Muslim tirade.
