He was MVP of the SoCal Elite Gary Raya Classic tournament won by Northwood. Huynh, a 6-foot senior guard, scored 18 points in the Timberwolves’ 51-41 win over JSerra in the tournament championship game at El Dorado. He scored 30 in a semifinals win over El Toro. Huynh is averaging 18 points a game.
