Plane that crashed into Riverside homes had engine trouble before liftoff, according to NTSB report

The small aircraft that crashed into two Riverside homes Feb. 27 , killing four of its five occupants, had engine trouble before it left the Riverside Municipal Airport, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board. The report states that the 83-year-old pilot of the Cessna 310, Nouri Hijazi, got the small plane's right engine started and tried a handful of times to start the left.
