Placentia getting $2 million grant for helping with housing-related needs

The state has awarded the city of Placentia a $2 million grant for transitional housing service needs.
The City Council on Tuesday, Sept. 12, unanimously approved a partnership with Collette’s Children’s Home, a nonprofit that runs housing programs for homeless women and children, to provide services to residents through the grant.
