Placentia gets help installing screens to keep pollution out of storm drains

The city has a grant from the Orange County Transportation Authority to install screens on 95 catch basins in Placentia to reduce the amount of pollution getting into storm drains.
The grant will pay $150,000 of the $200,000 cost.
The City Council on Tuesday will consider the contract for the work.
