Pedestrian struck, seriously injured in Seal Beach

SEAL BEACH  — A woman pedestrian was hospitalized in serious condition Friday after being struck by a vehicle in Seal Beach.
Seal Beach Police Department officers responded at 8:40 p.m. Thursday to a traffic collision at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and First Street, Sgt. Mike Henderson said.
The victim was taken to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Henderson said.
The driver was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation, Henderson said.
