Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Anaheim

A pedestrian was hit and killed by an Amtrak train Tuesday, Oct. 9 in Anaheim, prompting an investigation.
State College Boulevard was closed in both directions between Katella and Howell avenues shortly after 11:40 a.m., Anaheim police said.
Investigators were working to identify the victim.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.
