Pedestrian killed on 22 Freeway in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed today on the westbound 22 Freeway in Garden Grove.
The fatal injury occurred about 5:45 a.m. at Beach Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. The person died at the scene.
The westbound lanes were closed while an investigation was conducted.
